Eileen Chappell of Cornwall, NY entered into rest on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. She was 79.
The daughter of the late Oscar and Ann Cotter Trennes, she was born on August 28, 1939 in Bronx, NY.
Eileen retired from The Cornwall Hospital where she not only worked, but volunteered as a Pink Lady. She also volunteered as Treasurer for the Boy Scouts for over 20 years. She loved her job and all of the friends she made along the way. A big thank you to Lynn, her roommate, who became her sister at Schervier. Also for Marion, who kept Eileen up to date with life in Cornwall over the years.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and her smile and optimistic outlook will be deeply missed.
Eileen is survived by her three sons: Robert and his wife, Tammy and their children: Matthew, Katie and Hailey, all of Cornwall; Michael and his wife, Sue and their children: Kaela and Kylie, all of Warwick; Daniel and his wife, Amy, and their daughter April, all of Florida; godson, Thomas Bodnar; niece Patricia Bodnar and family; sisters: Patricia Bodnar Buehl and Betty Curatolo and family. She was predeceased by her husband, Aaron Chappell.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
