Doris Marie Hennessey of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY entered into rest on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill. She was 90.
The daughter of the late Augustine T. and Hazel Fredrickson Hennessey, she was born on May 6, 1927 in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
Doris was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Avenue A.
Survivors include her many cousins. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Sophia Jane Hennessey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4 from 6:30-8:30pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 5 at 10am at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ memory may be made to Cornwall Volunteer Ambulance Corps., P.O. Box 151, Cornwall, NY 12518.
