Ethel M. O’Brien, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2018 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 74 years old.
The daughter of the late Charles L. O’Dell and Mildred M. (Hand) O’Dell, Ethel was born on March 28, 1943 in Cornwall, NY. Ethel was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas J. O’Brien, Sr. in 2014.
Ethel adored her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all those whose life she has touched.
Ethel is survived by her daughter: Kathleen (O’Brien) Demar and her husband Dirik of Cornwall, NY; her sons: Thomas J. O’Brien, Jr. and his fiancée Amy DePuy of New Paltz, NY and Kevin P. O’Brien and his wife Angela of Cornwall, NY; six grandchildren; and her sisters: Marion Oxsen, Anne Weygant, Charlotte Brundage, Norma Hall and Melinda Cordero. In addition to her husband, Ethel was predeceased by her sister Ruth Babcock.
