Anita Antonina Morales, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2017 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was 79 years old.
The daughter of the late Frank Ragusa and Sarah (Manino) Ragusa, Anita was born on March 19, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY.
A family statement reads: “Mom was a generous and loving person who put others before herself. She believed in helping others and donated her time and clothing to the needy whenever she could. She was a beautiful woman with a large heart and truly believed that God was with her throughout all of life’s trials and tribulations.” She will be missed greatly.
Anita is survived by her loving Companion: Jerry Petronella; her sons: Michael, Anthony and Dominick; her daughter: Michelle Evans; her sister: Christine Miller; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, December 4th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Prayer Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
