Judith A. Blaine of Cornwall, NY, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2017. She was 79 years old.
The only child of the late John and Annamae Giebler Steffens, she was born on September 9, 1937 in Manhattan.
Judith moved to Cornwall in 1952 and graduated from Cornwall High School. She was a retired executive secretary at Cornwall Hospital. She was also a member and past president of Highland Engine Co. Auxiliary. Judith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by many. Survivors include: her loving husband of 62 years, Donald T. Blaine, Sr.; sons: Donald and his wife Susan, of Cornwall; John and his wife Gail, of Goshen; grandson David and his wife Jennifer of Long Island City; granddaughters: Victoria of Boston, Mass.; and Madison of Goshen: and twin great-grandsons, Griffin and Tatum. She is also survived by her brother, and sisters-in-law, plus many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4-7pm on Thursday, July 6 at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, July 7 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.
