Hannah Marie Scherf, of Vails Gate, NY entered into eternal rest on June 18, 2017 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 68 years old.
The daughter of the late James H. Deyo and Beatrice Brewer Deyo, Hannah was born on January 26, 1949 in Cornwall, NY.
Hannah was a Dispatcher for United Parcel Service in Newburgh, NY.
Hannah is survived by her loving husband, Larry Scherf; her daughters, Stephanie B. Scherf and her husband, Dennis Felgner of Wallkill, NY and Jennifer Steinberg and her husband, Jason of Wallkill, NY.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on June 24th at the funeral home. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
Memorial Contributions in Hannah’s name can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 2 Jefferson Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY or to your local Humane Society.
