Obituaries: Kevin Michael Hennessey

Kevin Michael Hennessey, 57, of Cornwall on Hudson, joined the angels on Saturday, December 3, 2016 after a brief illness. He was the son of Margaret M. and the late James J. Hennessey, Sr. He was a graduate of Cornwall Central High School, class of 1977 and attended Orange County Community College. He was a prolific writer and talented artist.
Kevin is survived by his brothers, James J. Jr. and William (Meryl) Hennessey; and sisters, Judith (James) White, Maureen (George) Wallace, and Jacqueline (Anthony) Taormina; 16 nieces and nephews, 3 grand nephews, and 1 grand niece.
Visitation will be held from 2pm - 4pm and 6 pm - 8 pm on Thursday, December 8 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Friday, December 9 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. The burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY.
