December 27, 2016

Bernice P. Gill, of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2016 at Wingate of Dutchess, Fishkill, NY.

Born in Kingston, NY to Frederick and Mable Jankowski, she was 93 years old. Bernice was married to Vincent J. Gill, who predeceased her in 1981.

Earlier in her life, Bernice was employed by Ladycliff College and Highland Falls Library. She was a true NY Yankees fan and loved watching their games (except for when they were playing on the West Coast). In addition to her husband, mother and father, she was predeceased by her siblings, Jack, Fred, Donald Jankowski and Doloris Brown. Her extended family includes Lance, James (Tara), Payton, Kole O’Dell and Taylor Esposito.

Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 on Wednesday, December 28th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 29th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
