Margaret T. Kelly, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on December 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 81 years old.
The daughter of the late Edward and Mary Dougherty Doocey, Margaret was born on June 7, 1935 in County Mayo, Ireland.
A family statement reads: “The lady with the biggest heart and smile, who never missed a game of “25”, a devoted Christian woman, she loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her”.
Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph P. Kelly. She is survived by her sons, Joseph and Sean Kelly; her daughters, Maureen and her husband Mark Edsall, Joanne and her husband Bob Conley, Margaret and her husband Steve Lynch, and Patricia and her husband Tom Whalen; her sister, Nancy McGuire of Ireland; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 18th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 19th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.
