Obituaries: Geraldine Mary Gould

Geraldine Mary Gould of Cornwall, NY entered into rest on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. She was 86.
The daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Cosdenti Santoro, she was born on September 24, 1929 in Montgomery, NY.
Geraldine was a member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church and Court Rita #264 Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was also a volunteer at the Cornwall Hospital gift shop.
Geraldine was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be deeply missed.
Survivors include: sons Robert and wife Catherine, and Kevin and wife Mary; grandchildren: Ryan, Matthew, Stephen and Kayla; sister-in-law Elizabeth Santoro; nieces: Mary Havens, Adair Santoro, Anne Pierce, Carole Campis, Debbie Shovan Gordon and SueAnn Gould; nephews: Robert, Anthony, David, Thomas, Mark, and John Santoro and John Gould. Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Gould, brothers, Mark, Ralph, Benjamin and Nicholas Santoro, and sister Rose Havens.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5 from 2-5pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 6 at 10am at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Geraldine’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.
