Obituaries: Philip "Tory" Faurot

Philip “Tory” Faurot, a lifelong area resident of Cornwall-on-Hudson and New Windsor, entered into rest on Monday, September 14, 2015.
The son of Peter C. and Irene Faurot, he was born on October 4, 1961 in Cornwall, NY.
Tory was a carpenter by trade and worked for the Black Rock Forest Consortium.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved the Adirondacks and spending time in Black Rock Forest, where he was also a Patrolman.
Tory was a huge fan of Army football, and loved soccer, which he played quite well himself. He was a loving and caring husband, son, brother, uncle and friend and he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include: his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Gail: his mother Irene Faurot: brothers: John, and David and his wife Lori; nieces: Sarah, Taylor and Hailey Faurot. He was predeceased by his father, Peter C. Faurot.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
