Isabelina Gabino of New Windsor entered into eternal rest to be with her Lord on June 27, 2015 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 79 years old.
The daughter of Felix Martinez and Carmen Carles, Isabelina Gabino was born on July 9, 1935 in Cayey, Puerto Rico.
A family statement reads: "Isabelina was a hard working inspirational mother, grandmother, who will be missed greatly by her sons, sister and grandchildren and great grandchildren."
Isabelina Gabino is survived by her sons: Felix Gabino and his wife, Karen of Arizona and Alberto Gabino and his wife, Milagros of New Windsor; sister, Mary Montes; grandchildren: Clarissa and Jessica Gabino, Ariela and Karina Gabino; also two great grandchildren: Samantha and Gabriela Plummer.
She was predeceased by her brothers: Luis and Theodore Martinez and a sister, Teresa Monell.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 2nd at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 3rd at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY; Fr. Andrew Kurzyna will officiate. Burial will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor.
