Salvatore Lucenti, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on June 6, 2015 at Westchester Medical Center.
He was 91 years old.
The son of Joseph and Carmella Lucenti, Salvatore was born on October 4, 1923 in Brooklyn NY.
Sal was an Entertainer and Musician. Salvatore honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Military Service . Sal, fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving father and grandfather, very talented singer, guitarist and musician. He loved entertaining people and did what he could do to make people happy. God had blessed him with a voice to share with others. He just kept tumbling along, entertaining folks with music he loved. He wanted to touch the lives of others by touching their heart with song. He will be missed greatly.
Salvatore is survived by his wife, Margaret Lucenti; son, Joseph Lucenti; daughters: Carol Harrison and Dianne DiLorenzo; grandchildren: Michael DiLorenzo, Vincent Deluca and Scott Luncenti; great grandchild, Meagan Dilorenzo; daughter-in-law, Cristina Lucenti; son-in-law, Timothy Harrison; also nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10th at St. Thomas Church; Fr. Andrew Kurzyna will officiate. Burial will follow the Mass in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
