Barbara F. Ferrero, of New Windsor entered into eternal rest on February 28, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was 70 years old.
The daughter of Elizabeth and Walter Bonczyk, she was born on September 3, 1944 in Southampton, New York.
Barbara was a 1962 graduate of Mercy High School in Riverhead, New York. In addition to being a homemaker, Barbara worked for many years as a medical secretary.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed greatly.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Ferrero of New Windsor; son Michael Ferrero of New Windsor; son Vincent Ferrero, his wife Donna and two granddaughters Nicole Ferrero and Alison Ferrero of Fairport, New York; and brother Walter Bonczyk and his wife Barbara of Riverhead, New York along with many other relatives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 6 at St. Joseph's Church in New Windsor; Father Dennis Dinan will officiate. Burial will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
