Herman Robert Bloomberg Sr. of Cornwall entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2015 at St. Lukes - Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh NY. He was 91 years old.
The son of Herman Bloomberg and Georgia Curry Bloomberg, Herman was born on Sept. 10, 1923 in the Bronx, NY.
Herman R. Bloomberg Sr. honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army from 1943-46.
Herman R. Bloomberg Sr. is survived by his sons Robert Bloomberg and his wife, Linda of New Windsor NY, Herman Bloomberg and wife, Tracey of Brenham TX, and daughter, Georgia Howard and husband, Robert of Cornwall NY; grandchildren: Lisa Tufano and husband, Alfred, Allyson, Ryan and Jacob Bloomberg; also a great-grandchild, Hannah Rose Tufano.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dolores Nixon Bloomberg.
There will be no public visitation at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. There will be a private funeral service.
