Mary Barown, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on November 23, 2014 at home with her daughter Patricia by her side. She was 87 years old.
The daughter of Thomas & Margaret Meagher, Mary was born on March 13, 1927 in Kilkenny, Ireland. She was an member of the many veterans organizations along with her late husband, Anthony Barown.
Mary is survived by her brother, George Meagher of Edgewater, NJ, daughter and son in law, Patricia & Michael Kane of New Windsor, NY; daughter and son in law, Kathy & Thomas Hannon of Myrtle Beach SC; grandchildren: Sean Kane, Heather & Russell Candela, Jason & Jeanne Hatcher, Jamie & Julie Hannon, Roberto & Eury Padilla; great-grand children: Ethan & Cameron Candela, for whom she looked forward to visiting every day bringing a smile to her face. Along with Ojani, Tais & Anaya Padilla; nieces & nephews: George, Elaine & Lea Meagher.
A private Christian Mass will be held at a later time.
