OCVFA Fireman's Parade

The Orange County Volunteer Fireman's Association will sponsor it's annual Parade and Convention in Cornwall-on-Huson, N.Y.
Over 40 other Fire Companies from all over Orange County and New York State will participate in the Parade starting at 2pm on Hudson Street by Ring's Pond and finishing at Donahue Park at Cornwall Landing.
There will be fun for all ages including Free Kayaking provided by SKAT, Children's Amusement Rides, Magic Shows, Clowns, Fire Safety Demonstrations and Live Music Featuring Philip the MEATBOX on the main stage. All events are open to the public!
FIREWORKS provided by DeWit Insurance will be booming and blazing after the awards over the majestic Hudson River!
Beer provided by Dana Distributors, Hot Dogs provided by T&M II Go, Soda & Water provided by Pepsi.
Shuttle busses will be provided by West Point Tours for the duration of the festivities. Please visit our Google Map or download a copy for details. Parking at Donahue Park will be for Emergency Vehicles Only.

At the completion of the parade all participants will be provided with lunch and cold refreshments. Wrist bands will be distributed for all members over the age of 21. PHOTO ID required to enter the beer tent.
Trophies will be awarded at 7:00 PM ! Firefighters are invited to attend all
events during Convention Week!

Parking restrictions for Cornwall-on-Hudson as per Chief Steven E. Dixon, Chief of Police:
No Parking on both sides of Hudson Street from First Street eas to Dock Hill Rd. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. to accomodate the parade. Also there will be no traffic allowed down Dock Hill Rd. from Hudson Street and/or Bayview Avenue or down Shore Road from either River Avenue or Wood Avenue once the parade ends.
Route 218 will be closed from both sides from 12:00-5:00 p.m.
Shuttle Buses – Buses will be available from Donahue Park to the multiple parking areas, after the completion of the parade.
Parking
Apparatus - All apparatus will be parked at Donohue Park following the parade. Apparatus may be blocked in at the park, be sure to indicate if you will be staying for awards or leaving early.
Cars - Line up area parking will be at the Cornwall Middle School. Access to this parking will be limited to parade participants only. Enter this parking from Mailer Ave, and then follow signs for parking Parade Route Parking –
