Library International Festival
July 21, 2011
From the Cornwall Public LIbrary
As part of Cornwall Public Library’s 2011 Summer Reading Program – One World, Many StoriesYou Are Here! – the library has planned an outdoor community festival entitled Mid-Way International Midway Outdoor Festival for Thursday, July 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Families, individuals, organizations, and groups are all invited to set up a booth on the library’s lawn where they can share a favorite country with tastes, sounds, music or games.
“The more booths we have, the more fun this event will be for our community as a celebration of “one world, many stories”, said Karen LaRocca-Fels, Library Director.
Signing up to register a booth/country is as easy as calling the library at 534-8282 and asking for Children’s Services – or pushing “4” once the message begins.
The community is also invited to come and enjoy this wonderful event – no registration required.
For more information or answers to questions, call 534-8282 and ask for Bianca DiCocco – the event coordinator – or Liz Fisher from Children’s Services.
