On Sunday, November 4 at 10 a.m., come for Native American Toys and Games at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road. Native American children made and played with many fascinating toys that taught important skills. Participants will join Environmental Educator Carl Heitmuller to learn how to make a few simple toys and play some games just as they did long ago. This program will also include a short hike with Carl to explore the fields and woodlands where materials for toys and games were gathered long ago.
