Storm King Adventures Tours is located in Cornwall-0n-Hudson, on the west bank of the Hudson River. Our trips are tailored to your skill level and interests.
KAYAKING
Paddle in the shadow of Storm King Mountain and Bannerman’s Island, or take a relaxing trip into the Moodna Creek Marsh. With Storm King Adventure Tours, you can make a three or four hour kayak trip the centerpiece of your day or weekend.
With 30 kayaks, full safety equipment and our experienced, licensed guides, we provide fun, safe and relaxing adventures for people of all ages and abilities.
Choose from the following tours: Moodna Creek Marsh, Sunset Paddle, Bannerman’s Island and Castle, Full Mon Paddle (all 3 hours, $60) or Little Stony Pint or Fishkill Creek (both 4 hours, $80).
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Our 20 brand new Specialized mountain bikes are available for rent for $9 per hr./2 hr. min., or $40 per day (helmets included). Take a ride on your own down to the Hudson, through Black Rock Forest, or around the picturesque towns of Cornwall-on-Hudson and Cornwall.
Our specialty tours ($25) provide a 3-hour adventure in the heart of Black Rock Forest with experienced mountain guides.
Take the “Plane Crash Tour” and visit three separate airplane crash sites. The “Seven Lakes Tour” will take you along the beautiful banks of all seven reservoirs. The “Hermit Tour” is an educational and historical ride into the story of the infamous Hermit who made his home in Black Rock Forest.
HIKING
Our hiking guides are all experienced and licensed in First Aid and CPR. They each bring their own personalities and experience to their individual hikes (3 hours, $25).
Choose from the following: Dendrology Hike (learn to identify trees from the characteristics of their leaves), Scenic Views I, Scenic Views II, Animal Tracking, Green Building Tour, Seasonal Observations, Homestead Hike, History of Storm King Mountain Hike, Orienteering or the History of Papermaking Hike.
