The Grail Retreat Center located at 119
Duncan Ave., Cornwall on Hudson, NY held a lecture and discussion group on
"How to Build a Sustainable Peace - Conversation from a Global Perspective" and the keynote speaker was Ph.D., P.E. John V. Farr, West Point Professor of Engineering Management - Director of the Center for Nation Reconstruction and Capacity Development.
"What is the Grail Center? We are a non-profit retreat center and non-governmental organization that, since 1979, has offered support, training, and retreats for women who work for social justice, environmental sustainability, and community development. Part of an international, intercultural, ecumenical movement called the Grail, we are women inspired by our Faith to transform the world into a place of peace and justice. Our work includes practical training, skill-building, strategizing, and networking, as well as the offering of retreats where women can recharge and reconnect with the Spirit and each other."
