Shadow Dogs at Ring's Pond

September 25, 2012-I was at Ring's Pond this morning taking some photos of the local heron. I then returned later at about 12 noon, where I found someone had added about 5 shadow dogs around the pond. I'm assuming the hope was that it would frighten the geese away.
Unfortunately it worked about as well as the alligators in the pond have worked. As you can see it had no effect on the geese. Apparently whoever placed the dogs also realized this. I returned to Ring's Pond after my school run to find the dogs removed. It seems nothing scares the geese.
