Every year, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation stocks creeks and streams across the state with young trout in advance of the fishing season. Trout fishing season opens April 1st and last week crews were out along a Moodna Creek estuary with a truck filled with live fish.
Jim Lennon of Cornwall was down on Route 32 just south of the Black Rock Fish & Game Club in Mountainville on Friday, where he took these photos of the fish stocking in progress.
