Jim Lawless took these photos on Sunday and sent them in with this note:
"At 4:30 today, after spending the afternoon cleaning up the yard and gardens, I took my second cup of afternoon coffee out to the patio to survey my work.
Just as I had settled into one of the patio chairs and started to take a sip of my java, I looked up and noticed a small hint of pink just barely lighting the underside of the cloud layer that had formed during the afternoon. A minute later the entire sky started to come alive with what was probably the most magnificent sunset I have ever witnessed from this house. It lasted all of 4-5 minutes and then was gone as fast as it arrived. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did."

I was in Ossning when the sunset took place - couldn't believe the majesty of this event. Thanks, Jim, for capturing it on "film"!
