On the summer solstice, members of the Grail and friends from throughout the area took part in a blessing of the labyrinth, which was built on the grounds of the retreat center earlier this spring. With prayer and poetry, about 25 people celebrated the creation of the labyrinth, which was designed by Terry Murray in a project led by Barbara Smith Gioia. Journey Arts Sounds and Healing Studio played chakra chimes and local photographer Mel Kleiman was on hand to take these photos.
