Cornwall-on-Hudson resident, who lives up the street from The Grail property, recently took these photos of the trees the retreat center took down as part of its effort to create a more sustainable forest and to open the canopy roof to let light in. The fallen tree branches are intended to remain to deter deer from grazing on new growth.
