Last week, after more than a foot of snow fell in Cornwall, two photographers found one another as they snapped photos of the Moodna Valley draped in snow. Tom Doyle (in the photos) says that he met fellow photographer Adam Pass, of Washingtonville, when he was shooting a photo he calls "Snow Sculpture." This is what Tom says of the encounter: "I was shooting the Snow Sculpture image on a Moodna Valley hilltop last week. I was surprised when I saw another photographer out there and we stopped and chatted for a while. Adam's shots illustrate what's involved, sometimes, in landscape photography. I got a kick out of Adam's comment regarding conditions - 'Man this weather is gnarly but the light is incredible.'"
These three photos by Adam Pass show Tom Doyle at work in the snow.
