Kathi Ellick attended the first of what may prove to be many gatherings of non-profit organizations on the lawn of the Cornwall public library this past Friday. 

The concept of the event was to offer a place for non-profit organizations that provide programs and services for residents of the Cornwall Central School District a place where residents could come and learn more about them.  Organizations that participated were asked to promote the programs and services they provide, to identify opportunities for adult volunteers and students needing community service hour and to educate the public how they may make contributions (no active solicitation will take place.

The organizations ranged from Jewish Family Services to the Cornwall Conservation Advisory Committee.
