Maureen Moore took these photos on Sunday after the heavy rains that melted the massive amounts of snow that fell two weeks earlier.
The first photo is of the Moodna Creek, taken from Orrs Mills and Jackson Avenue near the Moodna train trestle, where you can see the Moodna overflowing its banks.
The second photo shows three chairs on the side of a home as the flood waters begin to encroach. On any other day the occupants of that house might be sitting on the chairs watching cars go by, Maureen says but instead their house has been ravaged by flood waters.
