Frank Ostrander took these before and after photos of Bannerman Castle.
The top photo was taken November 4, 2009, just weeks before the top of one of the main walls crumbled.
In the second photo, taken on February 4, 2010, you can see how the top arches and turret have disappeared, a result of years of exposure to the wind and rain.

BANNERMAN ISLAND GOLF CLASSIC
JULY 26, 2010
Please join us for our first golf classic to raise money for the preservation of Bannerman's Island.
The event will be held at the Powelton Club at 29 Balmville Road, Newburgh, NY.
The Powelton Club is one of the areas premiere private golf clubs.
For golfers the day will include a round of golf, cart, lunch, a cocktail hour, and awards dinner for $175 per person.
Non golfers are welcome to attend the cocktail hour and dinner for $70 a person.
The event will include auctions, raffles, door prizes, and more!
