War Memorial in Quaker Cemetery

George Kane sends in this photo that he took recently of the war memorial erected in the Quaker cemetery following World War One. Kane writes: "Someone recently cleared the brush around it and placed a flag at the base. It's good to know someone still honors our war heros at this location."

Other parts of this cemetery need clearing and cleaning as well. Community history was made by many of these folks and there are some true heros buried here.
