9:30 or 10:30 AM – Family Story Time

Enjoy a story time at the library with your family. In-person, outside, weather permitting. Please register your children via the library’s online calendar. Registration opens one week prior to the program.

 

4:30 PM – Readzza Readzza Book Group

Book Pick: Jubilee by Patricia Reilly Giff

For grades 5 - 8. Register in person when you pick up a copy of the book at the library.

 

 

WEDNESDAY 5/18/22

6:15 PM – The Dreyfus Affair, Anti-Semitism & Art in 19th Century Paris

In this virtual program, Janet Mandel, retired art history / world languages & culture instructor, will walk through the fascinating story of Alfred Dreyfus, a Jewish captain in the French army, wrongly accused of passing military secrets to the Germans in 1894. This is the first of a two-part series.Please register via the library’s online calendarA Zoom link will be emailed to registrants on the day of the program.

2:00 PM – Virtual Mystery Book Group

Book Pick: Open Season by C.J. Box

Now back to being an in-person, drop-in program! Hard copies are available to borrow at the library; eBooks are available through Libby; eAudiobooks are available through hoopla. Please contact the library at 845-534-8282 if you require a virtual option.

 

4:30 PM – Art Afternoon – In the Style of Alma Thomas

For grades K-12. Limited space. Please register via the library’s online calendar starting one week prior to program. Dress for mess!

 

6:30 PM – B.Y.O.C. Concert Series

Performer: Benji Kaplan

Enjoy music under the stars this summer, featuring a variety local artists. Each concert is a drop-in event, outside on the lawn near the library portico. Be sure to Bring Your Own Chair (or blanket) to sit on!
