Maureen Moore captured nature in action in her photo taken last Wednesday.
She writes: "I was taking some photos of Ring's Pond this afternoon and had the experience of watching the local heron catch a fish and eat it. It was really quite an experience. Felt sorry for the poor fish but enjoyed watching nature at it's finest."
