Arrests
11/07/24 A 21 yr old male from Monroe, NY was arrested and charged with suspended registration.
Incidents
11/05/24 An owner of a restaurant on Rt 32 called to report a vehicle with no plates on it left on their property. The vehicle had been in an accident prior and was then towed away.
11/05/24 Police respond to a dog found on Hasvrouck Ave. and transport it to the Humane Society in Walden. No description of dog listed but caller had posted it a photo in his Ring app. Owner saw on FB that someone found the dog and was directed by Police to Walden.
11/05/24 Police notified of a 2 vehicle accident on Rt 9W. Drivers did not want official report.
11/05/24 Police attempt to stop a motorcycle on Rt 9W traveling at a high rate of speed.
11/06/24 A caller from Laurel Ave. reported damage to a state vehicle.
11/06/24 Police respond to a criminal mischief report. A caller reported blood left on a hood of their car and handprints on the drivers side window.
11/07/24 A water dept truck caused minor damage to a mirror of a truck parked on Main St.
11/07/24 Police respond to a minor accident of a driver striking a garage door on Kristen Leah Ln.
11/07/24 Police humanely dispatch an injured fawn who had 4 broken legs.
11/08/24 Police and Central Hudson respond to Quaker Ave for a transformer fire.
11/08/24 Police respond to a car vs. deer accident on Rt 32 and driver transported to hospital.
11/09/24 Police respond to a car vs. deer accident on Rt 94.
11/09/24 Police respond to Knoll Crest for a report of a fire pit in a back yard and advise the resident of the burn ban.
11/10/24 Police and SM FD respond to Rt94 fr a brush fire.
11/10/24 Police and FD respond to a 2 vehicle accident on Mineral Springs rd unknown injuries.
