Obituaries: Michael John Loblanco

September 22, 1961 – July 11, 2022
Lewes, DE formerly of Cornwall, NY

Michael John Loblanco, age 60 of Lewes, DE, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Beebe Healthcare. He was born on September 22, 1961, in Suffern, NY, son of the late Joseph and Rosemarie Loblanco.

Michael grew up in Rockland, NY and graduated from North Rockland High School, Class of 1979. Following graduation, he attended paramedic school, thus beginning a lifelong career. Michael was one of the original crew members of the Nyack Hospital Paramedics. He served his community for 30 plus years of dedicated service, both as a volunteer and professionally.

Michael had many interests and hobbies, including his yearly trip to the beach, reading Tom Clancy novels, spending time with his fur baby Frank and his family. He also loved watching old TV shows such as MASH and Emergency. Michael also dedicated much of his time to Highland Engine Company No. 1, reaching the highest rank of Assistant Chief.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years: Holly (Walsh) Loblanco of Lewes, DE; his sons: Nicholas Loblanco (Kari) of New Windsor, NY, Michael Loblanco (Katie) of Fredricksburg, VA, and Daniel Loblanco of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his loyal canine companion, Frank the pug. He will be missed by many people.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Firematic Service will take place at 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090.
