Arrests

01/26/22 A 34 yr old male from Middletown, NY was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.
01/26/22 A 27 yr old male from Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree, possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree and suspended registration.
01/31/22 Marcus A Henderson, age 30, of Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and failure to keep right.
02/06/22 Anothony M Losey, age 45, of Highland Falls, NY was arrested on a bench warrant.


Incidents
01/25/22 Police receive several calls about a large black dog on the loose and Police unable to catch dog.
01/26/22 Police receive a dog bite notification from OC Dept of Health.
01/27/22 A caller reported that an unknown male struck a female several times and then drove off.
01/28/22 A caller reported that someone placed a napkin in her door handle and she believes it to be a message from someone that may be after her and her mother.
01/31/22 Police assist Villae Police with a domestic dispute.
02/05/22 Police respond to a complaint of people smoking on the sidewalk.
02/07/22 Police remove a tree from Academy Ave.
02/07/22 Police respond to Jacqueline St. for a report of a loose dog which had no collar and no microchip. The email white and brown collie mix was transported to Humane Society of Walden.
02/09/22 Police assist Town of Highlands with a 12 car accident on Rt 9W.
02/09/22 A caller reported fraud after an account with TD Bank was opened in her name.
02/10/22 A caller notified Police of a loose hypodermic needle in the roadway on Bridge St.
02/12/22 A caller complained that she smelled a skunking the next door apartment. Police did not find any skunks.
