Arrests
12/23/21 Jeannette Heyliger, age 38, of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with 2 charges of DWI.
incidents
12/24/21 A wallet was found on Main St. and returned to its owner.
12/26/21 hikers found a loose dog and later located the dog’s owner.
12/28/21 A complainant reported fraud. Someone took 54k out of his account and opened up a new account with the money. Chase bank resolved the issue and an investigation is in process.
12/29/21 A caller reported identity theft after a person purchased building materials on her name at a Home Depot.
12/31/21 A subject reported that someone he knew stole his wallet and cash and punched him in the parking at Otterkill Rd.
01/01/22 Police assist Highland Falls Police with an intoxicated unruly male.
01/02/22 A subject reported fraud. She stated that she sent money for a security deposit for an apartment and it was a scam.
01/05/22 A subject reported identity theft. He received a Green Dot bank card in the mail that he did not order and contacted the company to cancel the card.
01/05/22 A subject reported fraud. Someone tried to order fraudulent checks and also attempted to cash a fraudulent check.
01/08/22 A subject reported that a male subject that he had dealings with years ago from assault showed up at his residence, demanded money and told him he had a month.
