Obituaries: Raymond DiMarco

August 30, 2021

RAYMOND G. DiMARCO
September 19, 1933 – August 28, 2021
Cornwall, NY

After 25 years of fighting Parkinson’s, Raymond DiMarco (fondly know as Chico) of Cornwall, NY, passed away on August 28th at Saint Luke’s Cornwall Hospital at the age of 87. He leaves behind his wife: Mia DiMarco; daughter: Michelle DiMarco; granddaughter: Chloe Regina; son-in-law: Colin Regina; stepdaughter: Lorraine Yannone; son-in-law: Raymond Yannone; grandson: Armand Yannone; his sister: Pauline Beck and brother-in-law: Raymond Beck; and nieces.

Ray was born September 19, 1933 in Newburgh, NY to father John DiMarco and mother Clotilde DiMarco who predeceased him. Ray grew up in a loving family with his sister Pauline. He worked side by side with his father, becoming a Master Mason and has left his work all over the Hudson Valley.

Ray married Mia on November 26, 1972. They lived in Cornwall, NY for their 48 years of marriage.

Ray was a professional Mason with an unmatched work ethic and a frequent card player at his Newburgh club. His many trips around the globe to Scotland, Egypt, and Italy with his wife Mia were some of his greatest adventures. Ray loved spending time with family and friends and always had many stories he would share.

Ray will be interred with his parents and nephew, Vincent Beck, at Calvary Cemetery. Due to the ongoing pandemic, there will not be a Memorial Service at this time. The family hopes to celebrate Ray’s life with family and friends at a time when everyone can be safe.

The family would like to thank everyone who took care of Ray during this trying time, those who visited and sent their thoughts. Thank you for thinking and caring about his well-being.

Arrangements are entrusted to Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc.; to send condolences, please go to www.Quigleybros.com
