Albert C. Ashworth of Cornwall, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was 80.
The son of the late Clifford and Beatrice Merring Ashworth, he was born on May 22, 1940 in Franklin, NJ.
Albert was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired as a driver for UPS and also for the DPW in Newburgh. Albert loved the Hudson Valley, being outdoors, gardening, going antiquing and traveling with his family. He was handy and could fix anything. His greatest love however, was for his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, and he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include: his wife Susan, at home; daughter Allison Schewtschenko, her husband Nick, and their children Bradley, Abigail and Nico; and daughter Laura Baldi, her husband Mike, and their sons Owen and Evan. Albert is also survived by his children from a former marriage: Patricia, Robert and Sandra.
Due to current public health concerns, there will be no visitation. Interment will take place in the spring.
