Police charge a Cornwall man with assault after he stabbed a man multiple times early Wednesday morning according to State Police.
The incident took place at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the driveway of a house on Idlewild Avenue in Cornwall-on-Hudson. Police are searching for the knife used in the crime.
The stabbing victim was taken to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh and is expected to survive.
State Police will hold a news conference on Thursday morning to discuss the case.
