Storm Causes Multiple Accidents

Route 9-W southbound at Storm king Mountain was closed this afternoon at or about 5:30pm due to multiple motor vehicles accidents, vehicles off the road, numerous stuck and stranded vehicles and treacherous road conditions as a result of the foul winter weather and Energency equipment that had responded had to be walked backward down the southbound lanes of the mountain.
