Peregrine Falcons

On Jan. 4th I was at Ring's Pond taking photos of our duck population. I noticed two birds in one of the trees overlooking the pond. I went over and took photos of them thinking they were just hawks. When I came home and downloaded the pictures I quickly realized that they are peregrine falcons. I should have guessed that considering that peregrine falcons favorite meal is duck. Just thought Cornwall citizens would be interested in knowing we have falcons in our town.
