09/12/22-10/02/22

Arrests

9/16/22 Angel Gonzalez, age 45 of Highland Mills, NY was arrested on a warrant from Florida.
09/23/22 Nazanin P Date, age 33 of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with 2 charges of DWI.
09/29/22 A 36 yr old female from Newburgh, Ny was charged with criminal contempt in the 2nd degree.


Incidents
09/12/22 A caller reported fraud after several strangers showed up at her residence stating that they were there to pick up puppies that they had purchased from someone using her information and facebook account.
09/13/22 A caller reported fraud after a Chase bank account was opened in her name.
09/15/22 Police assist New Windsor Police with a larceny suspect and issue a summons.
09/16/22 A company that collects waste cooking oil reported larceny and stated $500 worth was drained prior to them removing it.
09/17/22 A subject reported fraud after paying a scammer $500 on Zelle.
09/22/22 Police and several Fire Depts respond for a home on fire in Highland Mills.
09/23/22 A store manager from CVS reported larceny and knows who the kids are that are stealing from the store and that they are on the football team. Two kids went to self checkout several times before and would only pay for one of many items. The manager told Police that she only wishes that the two males be advised to longer return to the store. Police spoke to the boys and the team coach.
09/25/22 Police take a report of illegal dumping.
09/26/22 Police humanely dispatch a rabid raccoon on Angola Rd.
09/26/22 A subject went to Police to report that someone was on 9W in a black Ford suv pretending to be a Police Officer and tailgating her but then turned onto Mailler Ave. Police contact the owner of the SUV and find out through West Point MP that the person used to work for Dept of Emergency Services, had a badge through the dept. but does not have person to have or display the badge.
09/27/22 A subject reported that $300 was stolen from a laundry room change machine.
09/27/22 A caller from Juniper Glen reported that a stranger was at her mailbox but when confronted took off in a vehicle.
