Arrests

01/07/20 A 46 yr old female from Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with criminal contempt in the 2nd degree.

Incidents
12/22/19 Police take a report of fraud with their M&T bank card.
12/23/19 Police take a report of larceny. A package was stolen off of a front porch on Robert Rd.
12/25/19 Police respond to the Cornwall Veterinary Hospital for a caller trying to reach a Vet for his unconscious dog.
12/26/19 Police pick up a mixed breed female dog on Otterkill road. Dog was scanned for microchip and owner located. The owner dumped the dog on Otterkill Rd because the dog attacked a relative’s Yorkshire Terrier on Christmas and killed the dog. Dog owner’s daughter paid the fees and signed the dog over to the Humane Society.
12/26/19 Police and Fire Dept respond to Denniston Rd for a brush fire.
12/26/19 Police respond to Rings Pond for a report of youths walking on the ice on the pond.
12/28/19 Police and Fire Dept and Central Hudson respond to Hazen St. for a gas odor.
12/29/19 Police and Fire Dept respond to Industry Drive for a line struck in the building by a forklift.
12/30/19 A subject reported that his dog was attacked by another dog at the dog park. He has the other dog owner’s information.
01/03/20 Two subjects stole Christmas decorations from the doorstep of a business and moved them to another business. Police were able to obtain video footage that showed the subjects traveling down Main St but could not get a license plate number.
01/07/20 Police take a report of credit card fraud.
01/07/20 A caller reported that her cell phone number was sold to a small cell service co. Verizon is working to resolve the issue.
01/12/20 A caller stated that a woman stole items from a store on Rt 94 and put her cigarette out on the counter.
