Matthew Fishteyn in Concert at Newburgh Library

Hear the sounds of the keyboard by gifted musician/composer Matthew Fishteyn who will perform jazz, ragtime, pop, rock’n roll and original compositions at a free concert at the Newburgh Free Library at 124 Grand Street on Sun., Oct. 2 at 3 p.m.
Eighteen-year-old Matthew has been performing since he was six and has grown into a an award-winning composer and pianist. He graduated from The Special Musical School of America and received 3rd place in the Young Musicians Competition in Wagner College in 2007. This accomplished young musician seamlessly switches from a variety of music styles and transforms a musical performance into a more personal and interactive experience.
