Cornwall Medal of Honor Ceremony
American Legion Post 353 in Cornwall will dedicate a memorial to honor four local Medal of Honor winners from Cornwall on Saturday October 18th at 11 AM. in front of the Cornwall Town Hall, 183 Main Street.
The ceremony will consist of the dedication of stones with bronze plaques giving biographical narratives of the four Medal of Honor recipients, remarks by Post Commander Peter Kurpeawski, and addresses by elected officials. All military veterans and non-veterans from Cornwall and surrounding areas are in invited to join in this gala patriotic celebration.
