On Saturday, May 17 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting their annual Native Plant Sale at the Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall. This year will focus on a selection of native plants that attract butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Come get great advice from experienced gardeners. Enjoy free workshops including: Tips for beginning gardeners at 10 a.m., container gardening at 11 a.m. and ongoing children’s activities from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. For more information and a listing of plants for sale go to hhnaturemuseum.org/and look under Events or call 845-534-5506, ext. 204.
