On Sunday, June 9 at 10 a.m., come to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall to learn how to search for Animal Signs. Spend the morning with environmental educator Carl Heitmuller learning the difference between an acorn chewed by a mouse, a squirrel or a chipmunk. “Animals are elusive but they always leave evidence behind,” said Carl. “The trick is to learn how to read their clues.” Take a fun and informative hike with Carl to search for signs of animals beyond their tracks. This program is for adults with or without children, and children ages 5 and older. Admission: Adults/$7, Children/$5 Museum Members: Adults/$5, Children/$3. For information go to hhnaturemuseum.org or call 845-534-5506, ext. 204.
