On Saturday, December 1 at 10 a.m., come to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Wildlife Education Center, on 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson to create a rolled candle from harvested beeswax to take home. Learn how bees make wax in their hive, its purpose to the colony and its many uses by humans from environmental educator Pam Golden. Create beeswax candles which are highly regarded as environmentally friendly, plus visit The World of Bees Exhibit which features a live colony of honeybees in a thriving observation hive.  Interested participants must pre-register for the program and purchase candle making kits in advance for an additional fee of $6 each. This program is for adults with or without children, and children ages 7 and older. Pre-paid registration is required. Admission: $7/Adults - $5/Children. Museum Members: $5/Adults - $3/Children.
