Cornwall Museum Hosts Hudson Cruise and Tour of Bannerman Castle
On Saturday, September 29, from 10:30am-1:15pm. the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum hosts a special cruise which will highlight the ecology of the Hudson River and the fascinating history of Bannerman Island. On the cruise, learn about the river’s geologic and natural history from a Museum Educator. At the island, take an exclusive guided tour with the Bannerman Castle Trust. This adventure includes rocky terrain and a 68 step ascent. Recommended for adults and interested children ages 8 and older. Pre-paid registration is required. Limited Spots available. Reservations: $40 per person, Museum Members: $35. Meet at Newburgh Landing. The cruise will depart from “Torches Landing” which is located at 90 Front St., Newburgh, behind Torches restaurant.
